What do we do

Archaeological Impact Assessments (AIA)

Archaeological Impact Assessments (AIAs) are performed on
proposed developments to identify and evaluate potential impacts
to any archaeological or cultural heritage remains that may exist
on a property.

AIAs are conducted under a Heritage Inspection Permit issued by the Archaeology Branch under Section 14 of the Heritage Conservation Act. An AIA involves a combination of existing document review, discussions with First Nations and field investigations.
