What do we do

Archaeological Monitoring & Site Mitigation

Monitoring and site mitigation of an archaeological site is sometimes performed when there is a need to alter an archaeological site, under a Section 12 permit issued by the Archaeology Branch. This type of assessment is conducted on a development project, when there is a need to excavate a known site, harvest CMTs or to carefully monitor the removal of sediments from an area with high archaeological potential associated with a known site. The methods employed for such a task, are prescribed based on the individual needs of the project, site and requirements of the Archaeology Branch in consultation with any affected First Nations.

If you have a project that requires Archaeological Monitoring or Site Mitigation, please contact us for our rates.
